Baby Cards ~ Welcome Little One

Pretty in Pink

Hello once again, another long pause between visits. How I've missed playing! Well, in all honesty, I've managed to play off and on, just not in the same capacity as I had been, so enough said, these are a few of my baby cards.

I was asked to make a couple of baby cards for my sister in law to give along with her gift for two of her friends who were expecting ~ girls!

If your like me or any crafter, if you really look and dig down deep you know you have more than enough to come up with a few simple cards ~ so no need to go running out and purchasing anything more.

Pink, white cardstock, small dot embossing card, some pink ribbons and dollar store embellishments! Layer, layer and layer! Emboss! Make it pop. In no time at all you have a really cute card. Print up a sentiment to add to the inside, make your envelope and Le Voila! Another Card all set to go!

Oh Baby!

For the second card I just carried the same idea, embossing, layering, ribbon, dollar store embellishments and again, simple, easy and oh so pretty. Dimensional dots add that extra pop. Second card one and done.

Decided to go a little different for the third card, just to add a little mix up to the day.

If you are thinking you've seen a card very similar, you have. I can't help it, this is a go to card that is a hit every time.

So very simple and yet elegant at the same time.

White with a touch of yellow. Flowers, bling, ribbon, Teddy Bear & little feet add to the stamped baby blocks and finish this card off nicely.

The ribbon actually ties the card closed so you really don't need an envelope, but...

...what's a card without an envelope?

Keeping in the same theme as the cards, I added a little teddy bear, feet or flowers to the envelopes.

I do hope you've enjoyed stopping by and taking a peek into what I've been making these days.

Enjoying life, just a little slower...taking time to play at my own speed!! lol

Thank you for dropping in, wishing one and all a wonderful crafty day.

Partially Hidden Spiral Binding How To!

Partially Hidden Binding Tutorial Quicky!

Keeping it quick and simple. This is not a full project, just a quick tutorial on how to make a partially hidden spiral spine made with Bind It All and 5/8inch o~wires.

Score lines are: 5 1/2 inches, 6 inches and 6 1/2 inches.

Fold in half, turn and fold in half again so that you end up with the pic below ;)

This is what you should have before moving to punch your holes.
Once you've folded your 12 X 12 into 4 equal parts, front and back covers are doubled  and ready for the holes to be punched....

Measure 1 1/2 inches on both sides of your spine ends...to center your punched holes.

this is your scored and punched spine, ready for your o~rings.

I did not cut my o~rings to fit this as it was only to demonstrate quickly how to ;)

Et le Voila! a partly hidden spiral binding. Now...go play!

I do hope this has helped and you can play with this idea to fit your needs. Any comments would be great! Have a great crafting day!!
